KidsCamp

This camp, for kids in grades 2- 7 introduces students to the basic skills of music theatre, with training in acting, singing and dancing. In addition to camp instruction, students develop social skills, learn how to be a part of an ensemble and have fun. Two performances will be presented at the end of the camp with details announced upon enrollment.

StarStruck Players
- Ages: 9-14 yrs. (entering grades 4 - 9 in the fall)
- When: June 7 – July 11 Mondays thru Thursdays (No Fridays except final week); June 7–10 (4pm - 6pm), June 14-17 (2pm – 5pm), June 21 – July 9 (10am -3pm)
- 4 Performances: Friday, July 9, Saturday July 10 and Sunday July 11
- Tuition: $600 includes script and costumes (20% off tuition for siblings)

StarStruck Players’ applications will be accepted from March 5 thru April 1. Admittance is not based on a first come first served basis, but rather at the discretion of the director and the requirements of the show. Please do not send money at this time, only the show registration form. You will be notified by April 2 of your child’s enrollment status. If accepted, down payment will be due by April 15 and final payment will be due May 15. The tuition includes costumes and script for the show. Auditions for roles will be held first few days of rehearsal. Actors must supply shoes, make-up and possibly some personal costume items. Parent volunteer help may be required for set/costume building. Tickets to the performances are additional and will be on sale to the public. Performances will be held at Ohlone College, Jackson Theatre. Actors will need to supply a daily lunch and proper rehearsal attire. Program
as
they
are
celebrating
their
15th
Season!
START
is
Student
Training
in
the
ARTS
for
children
interested
in
gaining
theatrical
skills
essential
for
every
young
artist.
START
is a
non-profit,
tuition-based
teaching
program.
Your
children
are
trained
in
the
arts
of
acting,
singing,
physical
movement
and
dancing
by
industry
professionals.
Each
class
has
a
10-child
minimum
for
enrollment
and
a
maximum
of
20
students.
Once
you
have
sent
enrollment
information,
you
will
receive
a
confirmation
of
your
child’s
enrollment.
Payment
is
due
in
full
at
time
of
registration.
All
classes
will
culminate
in a
sharing
the
final
day
of
the
course
to
present
the
work
that
has
been
created
in
the
classes.

sharing
is
open
to
family
and
friends.

Theatre
Workshop

is
designed
to
give
students
an
introduction
to
the
world
of
musical
theatre
through
song
and
dance.
We
will
work
on
pieces
from
Oliver,
Annie
and
Peter
Pan,
culminating
in a
sharing,
"The
Orphans
of
Broadway."
This
class
is
perfect
for
the
beginning
to
intermediate
student
or
the
student
who
loves
musical
theatre,
but
does
not
have
time
to
commit
to a
main
stage
production.
Students
will
have
the
experience
of
being
a
part
of
an
ensemble,
gain
a
sense
of
accomplishment,
and
most
of
all
have
fun
with
musical
theatre!

Storytelling

of
inhibitions
by

creative

use
our
bodies,

atmosphere,
pictures,
and
character.
Each
student
will
engage
their
own
imagination
and
find
ways
of
expressing
their
own
ideas,
sensibilities,
and
stories,
as
well
as
ensemble
work
and
creation.
Ideal
for
both
beginners
and
advanced
students,
this
class
is
all
about
having
fun
and
expressing
yourself
in
new
ways.
